The soft light, the peaceful room, and Bigsley stretched out on the bed reminded me of Andrew Wyeth’s \u003cem\u003eMaster Bedroom\u003c\/em\u003e, with his dog peacefully sleeping on the bed.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe managed to snap a photo without waking Bigsley, and sometime later I turned that photograph into this painting as a gift for Christina.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBecause the weekend had been so rainy and gray, I wanted the painting to hold onto that subdued light—the way the room actually felt that day.
